4 DAYS LAMU ARCHIPELAGO

 

Day 1

Transfer to Mombasa airport for your 6.45am flight to Lamu. Upon arrival at 8am you are transferred by boat to Kijani House Hotel for check in and breakfast. Spend the day enjoying the serene atmosphere around the hotel with lunch served at the terrace restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Kijani House hotel.

 

DAY 2

Breakfast followed by an excursion to the neighbouring Island of Manda Toto and Manda Bruno by a sail boat. Lunch prepared and served by cooks onboard. Take a tour of the mangrove forest and the communities living around the forest. Sail back to Kijani House hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 3

After breakfast take a visit of Lamu German post office museum, the Fort of Lamu and Swahili house museum housing Kijumwa’s exhibition of new style obstruct carvings. Lunch at the Whisper’s Garden restaurant. Other activities include a donkey ride, dhow sailing, a walk on the shore path and visit to numerous shops and boutiques. Dinner and overnight at Kijani House hotel.

 

DAY 4

Breakfast followed by sun bathing along the Shela beach and around the Kijani house hotel. Other activities include goggling, wind surfing,   swimming, canoe riding etc. Lunch in Kijani House, thereafter relax and then transferred by boat to Manda air trip to catch your flight back to   Mombasa arriving late in the evening.

 

 

 

3 DAYS LAMU ISLAND TOUR

 

Day 1:NAIROBI-LAMU

Take an afternoon flight from Nairobi,landing in Manda island after 2 hours.Transfered by boat to Palm park villas for Dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 2: PALM PARK VILLAS

Spend the day at leisure with a variety of activities including; Windsurfing, Goggling, Mangrove trips, Dhow sailing, Water skiing and Laser sailing to engage in. Dinner and overnight at Palm park villas.

 

Day 3: LAMU-NAIROBI

Spend the morning lazing around the villas overlooking the sea till lunch time.Boat transfer to Manda airstrip for your flight to Nairobi /Mombasa
